7.5 mile bike ride

today i rode to laura’s house but she ended up not being home. so i went back home, turned on cherry and rode home through keizer. it was nice and it turned out to be about an hour ride. i did kinda crash twice once on my way out and the second time on the bike path against the cement wall. note: DON’T text and cycle.

so all week i’ve been eating 1200 to 1800 calories (not net) and to be honest a couple of months ago the thought of eating what seemed like so little was really intimidating. which is probably why i put off doing it until i was out of school. but so far i’ve been feeling good. on monday and tuesday i did an hour on the elliptical which was like 670-710 calories. and i thought that was a little too much so i haven’t worked out since.

not gonna lie, i haven’t been eating as nutritionally balanced as i have wanted to. but it’s a start. and it is definitely giving me an idea of where my calories are coming from

it’s also really weird that what i’ve been eating like is what i should be eating to maintain weight (since i’m 5 2) i’m not supposed to be eating all that much (1600 calories to maintain weight). weird compared to the generalized 2000 everyone tells you.

sorry if i don’t make much sense. its late. i’m tired. and i didn’t proofread this at all. night tumblr, doctors appointment at 9 tomorrow.

1.01 mile jog/walk

I haven’t been jogging lately and today I finally went.

Obviously this is longer, but the first half was uphill, i didn’t really stretch, and I ate so much meat today I felt my arteries unclogging. jk, I don’t think you can really feel that—just keeps me going when jogging sometimes.

1.5 mile jog/walk

I haven’t been jogging since Saturday. And today I had an apple after dinner and was really hyper—like couldn’t sit still and watch tv for five minutes hyper. So I took advantage of my hyperness and went on a jog. I was aiming for 2 miles, but it was starting to get dark, and I go on a path next to a parkway where I’ve been told hobos like to sleep at. So as soon as I saw a person walking my direction I turned right back around at about 3/4 of a mile.

I randomly woke up with the urge to go jogging on Saturday morning. Seriously. I woke up and thought, “must go jogging.” By 8:25 am I had already finished and was starting to make my breakfast. Here are my stats.

Average Pace(I have no idea what the difference between this and speed is): 14.04

01.13.11 ThursdayThis is what I was talking about this morning. Active 2.0. I’m guessing it’s like Wii Fit but for the PlayStation 3. Someone kept talking about how much fun wii fit was and I was feeling left out. So I told my brother about it and he told me about Active 2.0. We went to the store and go it, but there was no wireless usb reciever :( so we had to go back, return it and that was the only copy they had. So they called another GameStop, and made them reserve a copy for us. We drove to that store (which is like down the street from my house. >.< The 10 mile drive was unnecessary. stupid online gamestop.com) and made it 5 minutes before they closed (we got there in ten minutes when its like a fifteen minute drive IN THE OREGON RAIN). :O! I tried it  just for twenty minutes, and MY WHOLE BODY is sore. Some parts, more than others, but still it got me to sweat more than my elliptical does. I genuinely got an all over body work out. :D I can’t wait and see how this game turns out!!!!!! I’m so excited!!!!!!!!

Weigh-in Wednesday

So I’ve been cutting back everything I’m eating all week. Drinking only water has turned out to be harder than I thought. I still take a few drinks of soda, but at least it’s not the whole can anymore! During winter break the worst my weight got was about 179 lbs or something like that. I’ve been working out all week for 30 minutes on the elliptical. When I was getting dressed this morning I noticed my shirt didn’t fit as tight. So I decided to weight myself and I weight about 173 lbs. Whoa, I just realized that’s a total of six pounds! I still have a long way to go, but once I get to 169, I will start to go jogging. Now I have to go make breakfast for Martin and finish getting ready for school. Soda isn’t starting to sound as good anymore :D

2011, you will be different.

i’m sick of being “the fat friend.” I’m moving to mexico and i dont wanna meet my dad, and be ashamed of what i look like. from now on i will make healthy choices, work out at least 30 minutes three times a week and build myself up to every day, drink only water (and coffee only when necessary), and use the work out sheet maria made for me.

To stay motivated I’m going to post monthly pictures of “my progress.”
